Beading
We keep a wide variety of beading in stock, inclusive of external render beading, internal plasterboard beads, render stop beads and bellcast beads. The beads are available in galvanized, plastic and stainless steel finishes. The common length is 2.4m (8ft), but some are also available in 3m (10ft) lengths. -
Chain & Rope
We hold a range of different grades and sizes of chain and ropes in store all of which can be cut to your requirements. We can cut your chain to the nearest metre. -
Frame Fixings
We stock Simpson Strongtie metal fixings, wall plate straps and joist hangers. These are used for fixing door frames / window frames into brick and block work and to tie wall plates to solid walls and hang joists. A variety of bracketry is also in stock for other fixings. -
Nails
We mainly stock TimCo nails in a wide range of length and gauge. These are typically used in most timber construction jobs. -
Nuts & Bolts
We stock many different types of nuts, bolts and framed fixings. We also stock CSH (Cut Square Head) nuts & bolts, both loose and in blister packs. Blister pack sizes range from M3 up to M12, whereas loose nut and bolt sizes range from M8 up to M12. -
Screws
We carry three different ranges of screws. High performance Reisser self drilling wood screws, Forgefix performance wood screws and TimCo general purpose screws. Sizes differ between the brands, but range between 3.65 (gauge) x 20mm (length) up to 6.0 (gauge) x 200mm (length). -
Straps
We stock Simpson strongtie wall plate straps, in different lengths, bent, twisted and flat. All straps have a galvanised finish. The straps are commonly used in securing timber wall plates to block work. -
Ties
We stock Simpson Strongtie wall ties in two different specifications: HRT2 250mm and HRT4 225mm. Both sizes are stainless steel. Ties are used to bind together two walls within a cavity.
